Creating Content for Web Accessibility
Rise Course
This Rise course was created to teach writers and designers how to optimize their content to meet web accessibility guidelines.
Audience: digital content creators, copywriters, designers
Tools: Articulate Rise, Canva, MS Word

Process
Digital accessibility is an especially important topic in both the communications and eLearning spaces. With this course, I intended to provide a few quick lessons on how content creators can incorporate web accessibility practices into their existing workflows.
For the course lessons, I drew from my own experience working in communications in addition to researching more about web accessibility guidelines. Because this project was so research-heavy, I used MS Word to compile my notes, outline my lessons, and storyboard how I wanted the verbal content and interactions to be formatted in Rise. I used Canva to create the graphics used in the Knowledge Check sections.
Functions showcased: lesson and section titles, knowledge checks, flashcards, images embedded in quizzes
